PATHWAYS: A SPIRITUAL FORMATION SERIES

We offer a series of classes in four-week blocks or in a retreat context to provide teaching and learning for understanding and growth in our spiritual life and awareness of God. Our desire is to provide opportunities that will be forming, informing, and transforming in your relationships with God, self and others.

We believe that God continuously reveals himself to us as humans and that God desires relationship with us. We believe that God pursues and persists in this self-revelation in a myriad of ways. We believe that God is revealed through Jesus Christ, the Living Word--in his life, atoning death and resurrection. We believe that God is revealed through the Holy Spirit. A Trinitarian God--God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One, and as One all three reveal God. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are God's very specific revelation to us and that the Scriptures are our primary source of guidance and wisdom in spiritual discernment, life choices and ways of being. As well, God is revealed in creation and in and through each other in our relationships. We are invited to see and hear, to perceive God's reality and revelation. We are invited to join in becoming God's revelation through the Holy Spirit in us.

We believe God is a relational God and that God desires to be known. We are invited into fellowship and friendship with God through and in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Our primary relationship with God changes our view of ourselves, and changes how we relate with others. We become united with God's desires, will and with his transforming love.

In the groups and classes offered through Restoration Ministries we desire to teach, model and learn together how to live as Christ. We learn to see how our stories intersect with God's story, to grow into becoming a part of God's persistent revelation in and to our world. We gather around Word, worship, teaching, prayer and discernment. We invite you to participate with us in regular rhythms as well, even if you can not be with us in person. Reflections are posted for you to join in reading and praying. Share your reflections and responses on the blog.
